Project Manager
Great River Industries is looking for a highly motivated Project Manager to join our team. GRI is a rapidly growing general contractor for the Power, Paper, Waste Water, and Oil & Gas industries. The Project Manager will have a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Leading GRI’s safety and quality performance to new levels of high performance
Representing GRI as the main focal point to our customers on projects
Assist field crews in the successful execution of projects
Assist engineering and shop efforts in supporting projects
Attend bid walks and lead estimates for customers
Oversee the financial success of projects they are assigned.
The Ideal candidate will have the following experiences / credentials
Degree from a credited university in Engineering or Construction Management.
10+ years working in the Industrial sector
5+ years managing others
Experience in multiple disciplines of industrial construction (i.e. civil, mechanical piping, API tank erection / repairs.)
This individual will be based out of the Gonzales, La office, but will have significant travel.

QA /QC Manager
Great River Industries is looking for a highly motivated QA/QC Manager to join our team. GRI is a rapidly growing general contractor for the Power, Paper, Waste Water, and Oil & Gas industries. The QA/QC Manager will have a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Leading GRI’s quality program to new levels of high quality performance
Developing Inspection test plan for projects
Assisting with QA/QC input on potential projects / estimates
Development of new welding procedures and / or modifications of new ones
Participate in meetings with customers to assist with QA/QC technical input
Make job visits for QA/QC audits / assistance
Perform NDE on projects if needed
Assist other GRI QA/QC representative as leader of the group
The Ideal candidate will have the following experiences / credentials:
10+ years working in the Industrial sector
3+ years managing others
CWI, API -510, or API-653
Extensive experience with AMSE pressure vessels, API storage tanks, Mechanical and Civil codes / regulations for Industrial facilities.
PT, VT, MT certifications. Currently have, or ability to obtain

Mechanical Designer
Job Description:
This is a very exciting opportunity to be part of a team that will be a global leader in the fabrication of storage tanks. The designer will provide support to the Estimating and Engineering Department to successfully bid and fabricate storage tanks. This full-time position will report to the Head of the Engineering Department.
Responsibilities:
Create material layouts for the estimating and engineering department.
Coordinate the flow of deliverables from vendors to clients and vice versa.
Clear the drawing package of mark ups from clients and internal departments.
Prepare, check and maintain engineering documents.
Support the shop and field crew on technical questions.
Assist in the development of company standards.
Adhere to schedule of engineering deliverables and fabrication.
Skills and Specifications:
3-5 yr experience in the design and fabrication of API 650 Storage tanks.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools, Autocad, Inventor
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Time management skills are required to manage daily operational support.
Must be able to handle multiple projects.
Willingness to work additional hours to meet job requirements.
Basic understanding of welding, structural, storage tank and steel detailing.
